How to know or see all the drivers installed in a Computer using CMD


If you want to know all the drivers installed in your computer you do so using Command Prompt in Windows. This CMD feature will display all drivers installed with date and time of link date. There are many commands that are used in Command prompt, we will use one of them to see the list of all drivers in the computer.

See all the drivers installed on a computer-

 1  Open Command Prompt    (Click on 'Start' and search for 'cmd' and open cmd/command prompt from search result or Press 'Windows Key + R' and type 'cmd' into the Run field, and press 'Enter' to start the 'Command Prompt')


 2  Type or paste the command given below into the Command Prompt-

➛  driverquery


 3  Now press Enter to run the above command, and you will get the list of all Drivers installed on your Computer.


 4  The list will be with Module name, Display name, Driver type and Link date as shown in the above image. So, you will get the list of all drivers on your computer and also other information about the drivers.

 5  Use this command prompt trick, when you want to know all the Drivers installed in your Computer/Laptop.
